Michael Langrin
MICHAEL LANGRIN started playing field hockey in Kingston, Jamaica at Jamaica College. Michael went on to represent and captain Jamaica College for several years until graduating. After graduating he went on to play for a number of field hockey clubs in the Jamaica Men’s Hockey leagues. Michael represented Barbican Field Hockey Club, Blackhawks Field Hockey Club and Circus Circle Field Hockey Club.
During this time Michael earned national caps at the U21 level in 1980 and the Jamaica Men’s senior team from 1982 thru 1984. He migrated to the state of Florida in the United States in 1984.
Michael continued to be involved in the sport of Field Hockey. He was involved with several teams, serving in multiple roles both at playing and administrative levels. The clubs Michael played for in South Florida were The Florida Manatees Field Hockey Club, Florida International Field Hockey Club, Gray Dogs Field Hockey Club and the Lauderhill Strikers Field Hockey Club. Michael now plays field hockey recreationally with a group called Sunday Hockey in Coral Springs, Florida.
