LeShawn Serrette
LESHAWN SERRETTE was birthed into the sport of field hockey, as her father was a founding member of a successful team from NYC. At the tender age of 6, she started to play competitive field hockey in her parents homeland of Trinidad and Tobago. She moved back to America at age 13 and from then through 19 she played in the Empire State Games of New York State. She received a field hockey scholarship to an NCAA Division I college. There she and her team won a national championship and a state championship. (94-96) She graduated with a Physical Education degree and started her life of coaching. In 2009 she moved to Palm Beach County and that year she started coaching in the City of Delray Beach. She then moved to Boca Raton & Boynton Beach, within several different sports and disciplines. Her first love will always be the sport of Field Hockey.
